Each leather bodice has been designed by me to be worn with a peasant style blouse or chemise to compliment your kilt or other costume skirt. The pretty blouse that I make, shown in some of these photos, can be found in the pouches etc section. Some women also enjoy wearing their bodice over a turtleneck with a nice pair of pants or flowing skirt for a special night out, or with their favourite jeans for weekend wear. Whether you are looking for a leather bodice to wear to the Scottish Games, Celtic Festival, Renaissance Faire or Pirate Festival, you will find something here to make you look and feel very special.
I hand cut each bodice individually from high quality soft and supple leather. The fit should be snug to enhance the curves of a woman’s body, but not overly tight as this may cause the leather to stretch and distort, and over time it could even tear.
Please look at my size charts to see if you are a standard size. If not, I’d be happy to custom make a leather bodice especially for you. I’ll need a few of your measurements as indicated on the form. Depending on your requirements, there may be a small additional fee for this service, so I recommend you call me when you have your measurements ready. In case you would like another colour from those shown on the following pages, there is a suede colour swatch at the end of the pouches etc section. Contact me to see if your chosen colour is suitable before ordering. Custom work, both custom sizing and custom colours, is not refundable, but I do guarantee the fit.
